PE2 problem

Hi!
Well,my problem is that it hangs after the MDEC when you leave for the Mojave desert.
I tried to load with the comand -nocdinc,and I also tried to press F6 but nothing works,I've even used a protection fix for the game,still no luck,anyone did encounter the same problem as me and found a way raound it?

Yes I did,it doesn't work.

How does it hang? The Cdrom is keeps reading on and on after the mdec?
You can try to skip that mdec by pressing start, or you can run the game with the -pe2 switch. Some people reported that using the Chrono Cross patch (F7 or F9, i don't know) resolved some issues.

PS: Try changing spu or gpu plugins, i just saw a post that it was fixed this way.

The -pe2 command line is just for use with non-autodetected PE2 versions,it only helps to pass the point at the very beginning,the "Published by Square" screen.
And I've used almost all plugins available.

By that I take you are still stuck, as a last measure you can try to enable fvp in petes d3d plugin (that's what I use) as I remember I passed a tricky spot that way. Other than that I ran out of ideas...

i´ve got exactly the same problem, the game hangs up when you try to go to mojave´s dessert, please, anyone have any solution? it´s a incredible game and I want to play!!!!!!

this guy called yenanren posted a thread with a link to his webpage. He has full explanation on all the tricking points
in the game (with screenshots) and some savestates as
well.

Maybe you can try that or catch him in the forum, he's willing
to help.

thank you but this page don´t seems to work, I don´t know what happens...
a possible solution for the PE2 problem is get a sevestate once at mojave dessert, anyone have one?
