Running FF9 PAL

I´m siting here , after getting FF9 , try to use it with epsxe and whats on ? IT DOESNT WORK !
After starting the CD 1 i only get a black screen and thats all...
What have I to do, to get it running , and when I say running I mean running all CDs , not "Oh I got through CD 1 , now I have to find out how to run CD 2.."

Help me...

you must patch the game to get it to work (copy protection)
Petes cdr plugin has a option to apply the patch if u dont want to make a iso and patch it normally.

Ok get the hooligans ppf patch for the right version (uk I assume)
Now get this cd plugin http://www.ngemu.com/psx/plugins/win...eteaspi109.zip
set this as your cd plugin in epsxe , in the config at the bottom theres a use ppf patch file box, browse to the ppf file for disk 1 and then just run the game as normal and it will work

First of all u need a couple of tools, the patcher PPF-O-MATIC v2, and a program to make your ISO's with, couple of examples are: CDRwin (which i highly recommend) or NERO 5.5 or Blindread...anyways u can d/l there trial versions from various sites they will work perfectly to rip the ISO's.

Once u have those 2 progs, and the german patch from http://www.aldostools.com/ff9.html, u can rip the ISO's by just folowing the instructions that the Program gives, make sure u make the ISO in RAW fromat.

Once u have the ISOs, just Run PPF-O-MATIC and aply the correct patch to each of the 4 ISO's (which is very simple).

Then open ePSXe choose: Files --> run ISO..

Then load disk 1 and u should be away laughing (hopefully) :eek

hm I did it with the ISO buster, and was able to patch it, but again this screen
And i cant find out how to get further.

And be sure , it is NOT an illegal iso from a copyed CD its the ORIGINAL !! I borrowed it in the videothek to test if its working
(better loose 3 € for borrowing it to days, and then buy it and be sure it runs than buy it without testing and its not running.)
Or is there something special about this CDs ?
