Lunar 1, problems (unsure if it's fixable)

When Playing Lunar The Silver Star Story, Everything runs fine.

But when I access the game menus, The screen turns black., Then when I exit the game menus, The game continues but everything is black. Only changing areas. (town to map for example fixes it)

For graphics I am using Pets Direct3d Drivers 1.55 (Dx 6.0 and 7.0)

Sound I am using the driver ESPXE core

Windows 2k/NT cdrom driver

Here's my DirectX info from a direct Diagnostic. (some people may be able to use this)

Well, I've try with every Pete's gpu plugins and all of it had same problem. But if you use NickK's plugin, it should be fine!!!

Btw, I've already finished the game. But in that day, I use VGS

Last time I check the game is with the NextGL. But maybe it will work with Next3d plugin. If you haven't download it, better do it fast.

NextGL---->

Could you do me a favor and post your settings for next GL? I've had it but have had a lot of difficulty getting it to work.

Sorry about that.

Sorry about the multiple posts. I got a little frisky with the enter key =p

Apology. Was really frustrated last night. It honestly was an accident to post the additional posts.

let me see if I can explain my problem with a little more sanity.

With the Nikk's NExtGL, And Next3d GPU's, I try to select my settings. I would select a setting (640 x 480) ect, Hit the save button.

But it would not save the settings at all. It always reverted back to defaults for that GPU when I left the GPU options.

I don't have this problem with any of the GPU's cept NEXTGL and Next3d.

Ahh sorry I hope thats a bit more informative than my previous posts.

Are you using the latest version of the plugin? That was a problem with some OS(es) until very recently (the last release, in fact).

There is a glitch in Nextgl that doesn't save the config under XP, but that is fixed under v1.7

Petes Direct3d/OpenGL drivers just won't work in this game from what I can tell.

NextGL works. But the movies are either garbage or choppy. Ahh well. if I want it perfect I'll buy a playstation, not like I can't watch the movies with a psx viewer.

Oddly Lunar 2 works perfectly with pets Direct3d Drivers.
