not working

i KNOW people have gotten Legend of Dragoon to work, but mine won't even start. Also Resident Evil: Director's Cut will stop after getting to the "blood and gore" warning. If anyone would like to tell me to do with either games, i would be grateful. I might have some bad video configs, but all my other games work fine under my current settings. (Well, except for Chrono Cross which has a hard time loading the battles. anyone know how to fix that?)

maybe you accidentally enable some cd rom option make sure you didnt check any of those it has a great impact in compatibility

Just to check, are you using scph7502 when playing LoD?

Well in case you haven't yet ... switch! If you had searched through earlier LoD threads many mention that it works with scph7502 more often than 1001. As to CC, try switching your framebuffer textures to black, if I'm understanding exactly what your problem is?

What? I was told that scph1001 is better and more common than scph 7502

i found scph7502, but it says its the european version, or does it even make a difference if its european or american?

Ok, it works like this: if a game doesn't run under scph1001 then try a different bios, like scph7502. If it does run ... great! Use that bios for that game. It isn't just black and white here y'know.

I'm guessing you can't run PAL on scph1001, or something like that.

scph7502 is the euro bios, and it has absolutely nothing to do with whether or not you can run pal or ntsc games. Please research a bit more, average_guy.

not to say higher number means better, just that 1001 is best for now, unless you happen to use 70002 or whats the number to run your sony2 which could came out this year.

The bios numbers are for different areas.
1000 is Japan
1001 is US
7502 is European
At least as I understand it. Feel free to correct me.
The location it's from matters not in ePSXe. Some games just work better with some BIOS's

I dont think we need to switch the bios to scph7502.
Legend of Dragoon works perfectly in my pc using scph1001.
Try to look at your configuration.
