It might be a newbie's question

Yes, I have been on www.psxemu.com which is ngemu.com now, but I got a question which I forgot to ask, what is a PSX EXE file?

Those are homebrew playstation demos that you can download from various places. That is what you would use to run them.

"homebrew" PSX demos? can you tell me more about them? Like how to make them and if they can run on PSX hardware without a modchip.

That is one place you can look at about psx development, but I don't really know much about demo creation or where to download them since I don't. Just do a search with your favourite search engine and I'm sure you can find a few things here and there.

I assume the instuctions to do so would be with the ascociated EXE, but I expect so. However you would probs need your PSX chipped, as I think black discs contain info that pc cds can neither read, nor write.
