New version of the best IMO Genesis/SegaCD emu is out. Thought you might want to know.

Thanks for the tip. I saw it over at www.vg-network.com and I downloaded it. I agree that it is, the best Genesis/Sega CD emulator out there. But, since this is really a news post, I'm going to move it there.

There's a bugfix version, 1.42b out now.

Yup, saw that and got it too. But 1.42 fixed the sound, which was messed up in 1.40 W/1.42 Gauntlet 4 has full speech again, just like before. I'll test 1.42b tomorrow, but if the sound is screwy again, back to 1.42 for me.

Don't worry Prafull. I tested version 1.42b of GENS this afternoon and the sound is just perfect. Gauntlet 4 sounds every bit as good as it ever did. All speech, sound effects, and music are present and accounted for.

* PCM sound fixed (Popful Mail voices).
* Fixed the memory management bug added in Gens 1.50

[GENESIS]

* Z80 reset modified.

[GENERAL]

* Bug with Vsync really fixed this time.
