The compatibility seems to have gone up by a lot thanks to the native save support which prevented a few games going very far. Also, the 3D stuff being upside-down is fixed now.

The first NDS game I test today is burnout legend. It seem to be stuck while tried to recognize save game. Not happen to 2.2 before. Looks like some game happen to break.

Make sure you manually set the correct save type for each game in the emulator config, as there is no automatic detection at the moment.

Gamepad support is quite rudimentary, but it does work.

A method that works really well for me is to use a decrypted version of the ROM with DeSmuME v0.5.0 first to generate a save file, noting down the file size of the generated .sav file. DeSmuME can detect the save type automatically.

Then, use an encrypted version with No$gba, go to Options > Emulation Setup, then select the appropriate size of save from the NDS Cartridge Backup Media drop down box.

Other than that, trial and error also works. Note that these native saves are compatible between the emulators. If someone can point out a utility that can detect save types for NDS games, that would also help a lot.

What did your no$gba emulator says when it won't start any rom you tested ? You need to give us more details.

All my games crash saying "the rom-image has crashed" and I have even tried it with the bios. (I barely even was able to change the settings to let it use the bios)

EDIT: I have now even tried encrypting them with the tool that was mentioned above and the games still do it.

Chances are that you got a bad dump, if you did everything.
Also you need the firmware.
