What are you doing this for?? Is it for an iso naming program similar to GoodSnes types? Or is it for game specific plugin settings??? Would be interested to help, but would like to know what it's for....

A great thing would be to support compressed images. I think the formats that should be supported are the normal .rar and .ace, and also the Mooby Disk Image Plugin compression - that's the only way people with low RAM can run compressed images on their computers.

Ye, it is similar - renaming against database and yes, it is for game specific plugin settings and moreas well. Database contains informations as much as possible and renaming function can use all these infos to identify and rename file, because renaming rules can be user specified.

You are right, project is in early stage so I had no time to add spport for compressed images, but if u want to help me, try to find units (Delphi) that can handle compressed files (read filename and rename is enough) that are for free :o).

Eep - sorry, I've got hardly any coding skill (okay, HTML doesnt count). I just wanted to make a couple suggestions - sorry for any misleading statements! Sorry if any of the requests I made are not possible, but maybe in the future you could impliment them.

If you need someone to test games with plugin settings, considering you are going to need many different variables such as ATI or Nvidia (trust me, it makes a difference) and low end versus high end and whatnot, I've got a pretty large collection of games...I can go through them all, figure out the best settings for my computer, and then send you the ePSXecutor export reg files.

System specs are in sig...you've probably got a whole bunch of people who could test on this kind of computer, but I thought I'd offer.

Also, just a note, when I go to play a game on ePSXe I test it with all various settings to see what works best anyway...but I don't just go for the smoothest compatibility, I go for the settings that give me the highest quality AND the highest performance...and some games are difficult to test too...took me a while to get Legend of Dragoon working pretty much perfectly.

Cool, one of GB goals is db covers products as much as possible, so state of emulation of the product is interesting. I did CONFIG section in db for start, but if you feel to reorganise or expand feel free to mail me. With compatibility, there are some specific issues like with FF9 (in my example db in _rel version of tool) which are not system specific I believe, but as I said - all product (game) related data are welcome and compatibility list is valuable for emulating products as we like it ;o). BTW you are right some issues ARE system specific and these ones will be nice to cover too. And I'll be happy if configs will be specifiing with latest/best/common plugins/emus, exception are only not working/not working as good as older plugins/emus. So keep it up to date ;o). For example in FF9 u can't pass trough 2 (I Think) movie sequentions on ePSXe 1.6, but u can with ePSXe 1.5.2 which is older :o).

Oh and I forgot one important thing - top of the product (game) is PID (product identificator), so it means that one version of FF9 with one PID which is different from other FF9 version with other PID! Keep it in mind, for example making a config for FF9 is not good idea, much better is making config for FF9 with SLUS_012.97 PID!

well, if I put all my config settings in epsxecutor, it stores the games PID in there too, so that's not a problem. I'm going to go ahead and e-mail you my list of games so you can have an idea of what I can contribute, and so you can let me know exactly what you want.

Added plug-in support for new systems, so who want to write plug-in for next system, read plugin.txt.
