I've been waiting for the AVI+DShow crashing problem to be fixed
. Now it runs my AVI files perfectly.

I wonder if surround sound in wma files will work correctly in this version. I have to use wmp in order to get all of my speakers to play wma files. In winamp, two of the speakers have no output, but the rest of the formats are fine. Yes, I know wma sucks big time, but i aint no audiophile either. It sounds fine to me and doesnt take up much space.

Anyway, as much as you dont like the rules the admins should also abide to them. AKA this doesnt belong here
... cmon even the previous Winamp releases were left on the Software Forum

We abid by them, but being admins we have right to dispute and change them 'for the good of everyone'

Well... i havent saw any statement that says "We may change the rules at any given time without advise" and, AFAIK the rule of the news forums being used for emu related news only hasnt changed. As such, yes, the previous rule still exist and everyone must abide to it (that means you)
That is, unless you are Bobby. He's the only one that can do as he pleases
