NeoPSX GUI Release
I've just uploaded the first release of NeoPSX, its version 0.2. Sorry, no emulation yet, but I just wanted to show that things are starting to happen. Head over to http://sourceforge.net/projects/neo-psx/ to get it. Its just a GUI(Graphical User Interface for those who don't know) release and not much else I should be releasing a newer GUI release tommorow with a real working About menu item but until then I'm going to sleep. Hope you enjoy and give me any feedback at all. Also make sure to read the readme.txt before posting any stuff. Oh, I also posted the source code for anyone whos interested, I know its surprisingly bare, but I got really frustrated and scrapped the entire previous code-base to start from scratch, sometimes it just has to be done. give me feedback on that too if you want.

Thanks for the support. I'm trying to have as much fun with this project as possible, I'll keep the updates rolling out. Hopefully emulation will be working in the near future.

I just released the updated version of the GUI, now everything is working like it should. Tell me what you guys think about the logo in the About window. Please give me feed back on anything that comes to mind. Enjoy!

yet another small GUI update, just fixed the status bar alignment and added a splash screen. Get it here http://sourceforge.net/project/showf...group_id=83927 . You wanna download the NeoPSX-0.2BETA.zip file. Give me any feedback again. That one about does it for the releases, Next release will hopefully have emulation support (at least be able to run the BIOS).

Um, this just a little error : found it [the picture] should be in the bevel panel, but only in the right side, not in the left, top and button bevel panel. See the attachment.

Thanks for the feedback everyone. Thanks Galaway I'll fix that. I'm definately gonna ask RazorBlade about a logo because my photoshop skills aren't very good, I just play around until I have something. Thanks for the feedback and keep it coming.

zenogais, if you gonna make it independence, why not specify the size of pict? So everyone can make the picture / use custom picture in the emu logo
.

Good Idea!! The pic-size is a somewhat odd
314x185(thats in pixels). Acutually its probably more like a 315x185 cus theres a small about of blackspace if you use 314. And I'll get that use custom logo working by the end of today so you guys can do that. |
