Re: VIA 4in1 4.49p

Tried them, had to revert back to 4.48, the 49's caused me all kinds of problems releating to my 160gb HD.

Re: VIA 4in1 4.49p

I think chaosblade said it screwed up his windows install. I'm not sure if it was with those ones though.

Unhappy

Yes, chaosblade said that it was the 4.49p 4-in-one drivers (the newest ones) that caused him to have to reinstall windows. I think I'll wait on these until I hear more about them.
sincerely,

Re: VIA 4in1 4.49p

There must be a reason why VIA have not put this up on their website, anyways, I am skipping this.

Hopefully this will fix the problem I had with 4.49p

Re: VIA 4in1 4.49p

Its on VIAarena . read their forums , the oldbies there said its the worst drivers yet . they ****ed up this release somehow i guess , it changed all the drivers on some guy's comp from IDE to SCSI .. alot more reasons .

Stick to 4.48

Re: VIA 4in1 4.49p

I cant believe they can get away with releasing ****e like this.

Especially seeing as the version numbers do not indicate stability at all.

Madness! :O

I found 4.48 to work flawlessly .
for older OS's you might wanna try 4.43 or previous .
