hey guys and gals,

I was just wondering what kind of problems are caused by fastwrites? I have always had fastwrites enabled and I don't think I've had any problems aside from lockups after playing for a few hours with my gf4 4200 at core 294mhz (but then again, that's probably cause of the overclocking)

from what I was hearing, more instability than anything else. I was also reading on how fastwrites don't even work that good

The SiS website didn't work for me either, but I found a mirror:

ok, the download link from these site points to the original SiS download (http://driver3.sis.com/agp/agp115.exe, IIRC is the SiS UK mirror - driver.sis.com is the main one, Taiwan, and driver2.sis.com the US one). I tried the link from ur site and it worked, even after 3/4 times... I mean, I needed 4 times to work . Btw, now, the http://downloads.sis.com is working for me

Thx, bye

ok, I installed the new SiS AGP 1.15 and here the changes:
- IMHO, the Windows start (as all the notebook bios one) is a bit faster
- everytime I installed such a new driver (even for the gpu/SiS650 either for the AGP/SiS), I test the improvements w/ the Pete's Texture Speed (the famous Pete's test... ) and here there'r the new results compared to the old one (as u can see, there'r sensible improvements

the new one
