IMO the legality issue should be handled as ROM sites do it with their ROMs: If you own the original game, you may download the music, since you could also rip it yourself, but don't have the required programming skills (for ROMs: the required dumping hardware). Otherwise delete the files after 24 hours.

Why would this thread be supported if you know people will keep the music for more than a day? At least I can download the FF8 PSF
