Hint: some people take ur ideas and make them instead :P

BTW no offense but I will not download more drivers until they are WHQL and official :P (its sick downloading drivers each 4-7 days on 56k )

on the other hand... those 32.20 drivers are quite small (4mb) so I will give them a try

not at all, 32.20 is another type of drivers, not older or something, its just different, I noticed that 3x.xx drivers are better for DX7 when 4x.xx are better for DX8

if it werent something like that, why should nVIDIA keep releasing those drivers (even when they are beta )

BTW, what means leaked? :]

It means they weren't officialy released by nvidia, there had a "leak".
Mostly someone from a company working with nvidia, but some people think that nvidia leak the drivers themselves, cause we are a huge community who always download them, so we're like beta tester to them

It was already added in the 41.80, can't remember for the 41.09 though.

I tried the 42.01 drivers and they broke my 6xS and 8xS FSAA modes(made fog and backgrounds completely useless)

Does that mean that GeForce2 users should better use the 3x.xx drivers instead???

Im using 30.82 now, and ill give a try to this leaked 3X.xx, since the 40.xx really doesnt go well here.
It killed my performance in almost all D3d games.

sorta, it is a DX7 card, so is better to use the drivers that boost the DX7 performance on it, but that depends if u want to use the features that only 4x.xx drivers give :]

Raziel, thanks for the news. Just grabbed 'em. I'm not worried about the 6xs or 8xs FSAA in D3D since it doesn't work for me anyway. I found the 40.80s to be quite good and I'll be anxious to see what these can do. I'll keep everyone informed.
sincerely,

Installed 'em last night and no problems at all. No need to use Riva Tuner, speed is great, and 4x FSAA in OGL is excellent. These are keepers for me. But they are not that much different than the 41.80. The main difference is that they don't say creative (which is nice unless you have a creative card). I'd say that either the 41.80 (if you don't mind the Creative logo) or these, the 42.01 Dets, are an excellent choice, especially if you have already installed DX 9 (which I have).
sincerely,
sx/amiga
