Talking Detonators 41.09 are out

This morning I checked over at Guru3d.com to see what was new (as I often do). "Lo and Behold!", there were new Detonators for both WIN 2000/XP and WIN 9x/ME. These Detonators are version 41.09 I've already downloaded mine, so if you are interested head on over to www.guru3d.com to get them. I'll be testing them later today.
sincerely,
sx/amiga

Phoenix, thanks for the update. I hadn't looked at the change log, so I didn't know. On Guru3d.com there were no comments (from the Staff of Guru3d.com) about the drivers, so I can't really say what is new. I've installed them, they went in fine, and I've set up Riva Tuner including NV30 (Geforce FX) emulation in OGL. I have yet to test them w/emus and games but I plan to this evening. I"ll be sure to tell everyone how they do.
sincerely,
sx/amiga

I just found that for GF2 mx/ti/pro/ultra/GTS is better to stay whit the 3x.xx det drivers for performance/quality gain, but for gf3 and gf4 users the 4x.xx are better, just a hint :P

Kingstar: that was already posted, isnt it? :P
and ur list is missing the GF4ti4800

shadow lady, have you experimented with the 3x and 4x drivers? I installed 41.09 and could descern no differences from 40.72

That is not true for everyone Shadow Lady. One must decide which are better on their own. Personally I find the 40.xx drivers better for my card.

well, I don't think this denotator is suitable for all Cards, maybe some of the cards like Pixelview will do very Bad if denotator 41.XX is installed, My Pixelview Geforce4 MX440 is faster and more compatible when using 30.82 rather than 40.72. So it depends on the type or the company that manufacturing the Card, you may download it and tested to see whether it is suitable for your cards or not.

This card seems ti be slower with my GF2MX400, ´
loads to much when i put anisotropic on both games and emu's
then with 41.03 where its faster.
Gonna stick to 41.03

well... in my experience it is :P

my kind of test is setting a game whit best possible quality (4xFSAA + Ani 2x) at a great resolution, and that why I get to my conclutions, but as you said it depends on each computer (like my mobo cant handle 4xAGP and whit GF4MX440 just handle 1x :P), so sowwy ^^

Perhaps Shadow Lady, I don't notice it because I don't use Filtering or AA. Yeah and my board supports AGP 4x for my GeForce 2 MX400 64Mb. Ah well, whatever version works best for you is good.

I uninstalled completely, and tried 3x drivers. then the same with 41.09, I do prefer my GF2MX40064MB to use the newer driver, not because there is a noticable speed difference, but because I like the display properties tab better with 41.09
