Snes9x 1.39a Released

After a long wait, finally a new version of Snes9x. The changelist is over 4 pages long, so I won't post it here.

Random fluctuatios in the Space-time continuum. That's a big changelist. I'm gonna have to give Snes9x another try now. Thanks for the news Badaro.

I find it rather amusing that they have a changelist like this and only changed the version from 1.39 to 1.39a.

4 pages of changes? I'm gonna have to seriously look at Snes9x now. I wonder if sound is improved yet? Thanks Badaro.

Super great news Badaro. I'm downloading it right now. I can't wait to see how it does. Maybe Dungeon Master will finally work.
Thanks for posting.
sincerely,

It's borked. The project has also been forked. MKendora is making his own version while JP 97 is placing together his version.

A coders story of the events (posted for laughs but not to make fun of James on my part):

<kode54> Here's a story
<kode54> of a guy named Gary
<kode54> who was having such a hard time hiding the cursor
<kode54> so he just created a hard to see pointer
<kode54> and set it up
<kode54> then he learned the Windows API call to hide it
<kode54> and so the dot pointer fell into nothing
<kode54> then James came along and "improved" it,
<kode54> by making it highly visible
<kode54> okay, enough of that

Interesting. I will give it a try. 4 pages of changes is quite impressive.

Anyone gave it a run ??? Is there a visible/audible difference ?
I'm so used to my ZSNES but I think it is great to see such great emu still making progress!

Snes9x does seem to run "bad checksum" games better than Zsnes. I think that's why it's so popular

I agree with you Kirby. Most of the roms run compatible with Snes9x. And for me it has the niciest graphics.

The makers aren't exactly the same in fact ... while Demo is working in both projects, calb and Galtor from ePSXe aren't affliated with ZSnes in any way ... only thing is that the three projects NGEmu, ePSXe and ZSnes are on the same server
