I still prefer the 41.03 dets. They have a much more tweakable digital vibrance. paticularly useful for older monitors. However I suggest anyone with the 41.03 tweak the digital vibrance. it can makes colors much more vibrant and crisp looking.

Quite possibly my favorite feature of the 41.03 dets is the ability to tweak it so well.

Is the WHQL driver any different to the non-WHQL driver? ...
What I'm trying to say is, I have the beta version of 40.72 drivers. Are the certified 40.72 drivers any different in content to the beta ones? Do I need to download this new one or is it exactly the same as my beta?

TalkingANUS, I would not worry about downloading the WHQL drivers. They are the same as the betas, they just have been certifed by MS is all. If the 40.72 betas are working well for you, then I would say that there is no need to download the 40.72 WHQL drivers.
ChrisRay, I agree w/you about the digital vibrance feature w/the 41.03 drivers. I have them installed on both my computers and I have the digital vibrance set on both machines. It does greatly improve the color quality. fivefeet8 has mentioned that he likes this feature as well.
sincerely,
sx/amiga

Does anybody know what the difference is between "Aggressive", "Balanced" and "Application" in the Performance-and-Quality-options?

Funny, I'm running XP with those drivers for ages and never ran into that problem.

Refresh Lock and RefreshForce does supposedly work to this, but in the case of 41.03 or 31.40 drivers does not, cauze they does send the instruction as 60hz even when in display properties does 100hz or whatever
