As for that, people changing there mind. I think it is a matter of changing their point of view for some more then it is jumping on the kiss the admins ass bandwagon that was mentioned earlier (ok they didn't call it that ).Maybe someone saw a post from someone else that made some sense to them and they agreed with it and changed their mind. I see nothing wrong with that. I think when people get a change of heart it is good thing, not a sign of weakness or an excuse to be a suckup. I can't speak for everyone of course. Me personaly, I love having my own opinion and sometimes someone will change it with an intelligent point of view, and other times I will stick to my opinion till the end. Curse of a stubborn man I guess. ![]() And yes I love to be sarcastic too .. btw is that against the rules yet? Are they still banning for that?

I don't think sxamiga is going to like that post. Wonder if he forgot?

Reminds me of somewhere .. but I guess we should stop talking about this subject since it is offtopic, and we know that is ban worthy I suppose ... god forbid I get a 10 day temp ban .. ohhh. ![]() Course I bet some of the uptight ones will find it hard to see the humor, maybe some just need to relax and lighten up.

Well let's just forget the whole stuff and just bide Mauros good luck on whatever program he would like to develop in the future.

Well, I would say all this has gone quite far enough. I think I will close the thread, as I believe that any valuable comments will be thin on the ground after these few days ![]() If any admin feels they would like to leave their thoughts, please, do feel free to open it again. I agree with Keith's comments on having own opinions, and allowing our opinions to be changed. There is a happy medium, and I am quite close to this. I keep my opinions open, and if there is enough reason behind changing it, I will. No pride. But Keith: I think you went overboard a bit with sxamiga. He has done wrong, he openly admits it, he's feeling bad. That, by my terms, if punishment enough, and a good lesson for him. Also, yes, we do need to lighten up a bit. I believe that to some people in the community, NGEmu is seen as the one being the most uptight. There are various reasons for this perhaps, mainly our plot for EmuDomination

I don't need to reopen this, Dixon, since we Admins can post in a locked thread w/out reopening it. I agree w/what you said to Keith about me, I too wish he would just give it a rest and leave it and me alone now. As for Mauros, well, he has apologized and I think that is what we all really wanted. So I think we should leave him alone as well and put this behind us. But at that same time I do not think we should forget, lest someone try it again. sincerely, sx/amiga |
