eVoodoo 3

eVoodoo 3 has been released. It's the fisrt release of a Glide3x wrapper, desgned to run the n64 plugin Glide64. Perhaps it could also work with Lewpy's Glide plugin for PSX emus. I can't test it myself, since I already own a Voodoo card.

You can get the first Glide3x wrapper ever in the official site:
http://evoodoo.emulation64.com/

Thanks to Emulation64 for the news!

Nope, with epsxe I am not able to configure the plugin.
Click on configure and nothing happens.
click on test and it says "plugin not working, try to configure"

Anyways its really nice to see a wrapper for glide3

it only works with glide64. u need to make pj64 fullscreen to see anything, remember we are dealing with glide here .its got probs, mainly alpha blending and transperancy, which hav yet to be implemented. but this is just 2 weeks of work (amazing wat u learn on irc chat ) so it certainly gains my respect.

Actually, you might be able to test it even if you have a voodoo card.. Hehe.. I did so with my voodoo 3 on ultra hle.. Ran it through a glide2x wrapper..

I did it only to see if it would work..

What's the point of emulating a Voodoo card?

1. It's hard to do
2. just to do it
3. Glide is slowly dissappearing from the hardware scene..
4. Presservation through software..

I don't think I'll try it with my primary video card. It's a damn slow S3 card which can't even accelerate D3D decently, so I won't even bother trying to use this wrapper(btw, what API this wrapper transform Glide to? OpenGL or D3D?).
