Adri PSX ILE 1.0.4 released

AdriPSX ILE is rapidly becoming the next great thing for PSX Emulation.
This new version includes the following changes:

- Fixed CDROM detection. Now, it will work on CDROM
Drives that use strange letters like "W:" or "X:".

- Enhanced compatibility, lots of games that weren't
running before are working okey now.

- Added some more HLE functions for getting more
speed. As well as updating older ones.

- A few fixes on Dynamic Recompilation core. Some
games were working correctly only when using
interpreter mode.

- Added screenshot support into savestates. Now,
screenshots are displayed when you are choosing which
savestate you want to run.

- Changed default PAD Plugin to TsgKnp's. This will
give better compatibility to Windows XP users, as well
as support for two players configuration.

- Fixed .ISO and .BIN cdrom image files support.

- Fixed crashes when exiting, or trying to load/save
an state file when playingin fullscreen mode.

- Fixed compatibility issues with Eternal SPU plugin.

- New CDROM reading functions, so CDXA sound now is
played correctly in most games.

- Some other minor changes for better gameplaying.

and I start to wonder what the purpose of a homepage is then ... could just CC it to every homepage owner anyway then - saves a lot of work to numerous people.

I think your behavior here and your behavior shown today on IRC is very selfish and extremely childish. You try to put a strangle hold on a lot of authors work, and news, which is extremely wrong. It's pretty messed up when the authors tell me that they are fine with us posting news, but they are afraid of the reaction you will make, and the complaints you will say to them. Actions like this take the fun out of doing this, and ruin it for others. Maybe the reason for this is because when there was PSXEmu there was no competition. Now with sites such as PSX Fanatics and other sites like EmuHelp that cover Playstation News the authors have other outlets for their news and announcements. You can't expect to control everything and everyone. I also believe you owe dixon a very big apology for getting on his case for doing what he enjoys ... posting news. I can't believe you still act that way towards the people you work with. I had the feeling you learned something the first time around. This is how things are going to be from now on, it is something that you will just have to get used to. As for PSX Fanatics we work very closely with the authors and are privileged to exclusive news. You can't expect us to wait for you to post something ... NGEmu is not the standard for Playstation News and Information. There are other great options out there such as PSX Fanatics for news and information. As for comments like these below ... maybe it is time for you to step away for awhile, if this is how you feel. No need to make others suffer for your own personal issues.

Here is where he is complaining because other sites posted about AdriPSX before the official page was updated.

* Bobbi wonders what the purpose of a homepage is when the author sends the emu everywhere anyway
(Bobbi) pretty much useless to update it at all then ...

Here is where he was getting on dixon for posting news ... posting news go figure. He should have explained it to him rather then ridicule him. Just plain rude.

(dixon) anymore news guys ?
(Bobbi) News ?
(Bobbi) Yeah
(Bobbi) Some people care **** what Bobbi tells them
(Bobbi) cool, hmm ?
(Bobbi) I told him to wait until I updated the page, did I ? Great to see he did that
(dixon) Bobbi: u talking about me ?
(Bobbi) yeah, would be best I move out and let other people do it - they don't listen anyway to what I try to tell them
(Bobbi) a homepage I updated that needs no updating, people I tell stuff who don't listen anyway - fun, fun, fun !

This last one was to me ... referring to other times news was posted by us or other sites first.

(Bobbi) it's not that this is the first case of something like this, you know ?

This should have been handled in a totally different way instead of coming onto IRC and acting like a child. Both Dark Watcher and myself feel bad for Roor and Juan, because they are going to have to deal with this now. We have sent our apologies for any problems it might cause them. Which should never happen, because we are part of an emulation community where we help each other out ... not by trying to be a control freak and getting all pissed off when things don’t go your way. Sometimes you can’t have your cake and eat it too. Sorry for bringing this all out but it had to be said, and will help explain his comments.

We will continue to work with the authors and provide the best support we possibly can at PSX Fanatics, and we will not change the way we do things to conform to something we do not believe in. This is a hobby and something to do for fun. Seems like someone has taken it a little to serious..

/me is sad to see that the emulation community isn't what it used to be anymore.

I totally agree with you on this Keith. And to Bobbi: grow up and quit whining when things don't go your way, the universe doesn't revolve around you.

I'm not going to really comment on this any more, the last time we got into something like that, it ended in a real disaster and wasn't fun in any way ... if you really think I'm trying to make the world turning around NGEmu, I think you have another problem ... but I won't get into it now.

As for dixon, I certainly totally overreacted against him and already dropped him a note to apology, but that's something we two have to manage out, not the public or anyone else.

As for Roor and Juan, I had pretty much fun working with them until now, and hope we will have that as well in the future - I'd say that everything they produce is their work and everyone would have to accept it, no matter what they decide to do with it. It's just messy when you program and work several nights on something not actually being used, and that's what I actually talked about yesterday - not some other site having the news 3 hours before.
But still, that's something the people who are really working on it have to manage, and I already dropped them also some ideas how to make it even easier for them to run the homepage - still nothing anyone else needs to really care about though.
NGEmu used to support all kind of emu authors, and will continue that way - until now, we recived a great response on the work we did, which prooves us it can't be that bad. We aren't a standard for sure in the scene (and never claimed to be), but we're trying to be good and don't seem to be bad at that

Your quotes from above are copied together and while some of the content is still understandable the way it was meant, some other isn't - and no, that wasn't a request to post the complete log in here now. Some stuff was really a bit harsh, and the people which were affected by that harsh stuff, I already contacted - NGEmu isn't a sope opera having to handle everything in public.

And last but not least ... about one thing said in here, which I don't really want to quote, this answer is enough for today.

Oh yeah, I will be moving out for a bit - 10 days during the next holidays to be exact But just because it's a long planned thing I wanted to do with some friends !

Seize the day,
