A new version of Demul has been released

Demul 0.5.5 is released

Updated Russian emulator Sega Dreamcast. Changes:
* New GPU plugin gpuDXv3 under DirectX9 in shaders. To work Naomi1/Dreamcast/Atomiswave need support Shader 2.0. To work Naomi2 need support Shader 3.0.
* New GPU plugin gpuDXLegacy under DirectX9 on fixed functions. To use shaders are not required. Designed for people with Intel graphics, and just poor.
* New SPU plugin spuOAL under OpenAL interface. He works a lot better DirectX version, but still has some problems.
* New system texture cache GPU plugins, changed the system of calculating the coordinates.
* Fixed bugs in the old GPU and SPU plugins.
* Fixed bugs and made many improvements to the core of the emulator.
* Added all current romsety arcade, including data protection Cartridge versions. Romsety except GDROM-governmental, fully compatible with MAME romsetami.
* Added function of loading arbitrary dekriptovannyh romsetov for all arcade systems. In the dialog romseta click "Load Decrypted rom". For Atomiswave Roma, with crash when loading some romsetov need to increase the size of uploaded file twice.

Ok... nice to hear news, but this realease is working really bad for me.
First, Initial D 1st doesnt even boot, it seems that gpu dont want to start. Also, First of the North Star threw me a winxp error in the title screen.

Dolphin blue is working fine, but little sound problems.
KOF Neowave works perfect too.

It seems this release broke many things, also I know it's not my gpu problem, since Im using a HD4670...

ATOMISWAVE works great. BTW Marvel VS CAPCOM 2 gave me a strange error that some epr was with incorrect lenght. In 5.4 it boots and crashes when inserting coin...

Sorry about the Noob question, but is there a tutorial on how to configure this emulator from start to finish, as this emulator is the only one i have trouble with.
If its not on this site, then please tell me the link to where it is, so i can learn how to configure it.
I have all the necessary Bios & flash files, just need to know what to name them, where to place them, if they need to be in a zip, or Rar file.
I am running Vista Home Premium, will this run on there?
If there are no tutorials then could one of you nice people, write one, so people who are less knowledgeable than you, have a chance to try this great looking emulator. :o(

Guilty Gear Isuka works now but you cant turn you direction ingame, you allways head right (i've tried in board menu but no one helps)



Demolist Fist works right too but theres a lot of problems with polygon transparencies and shadows, there's so stupid pitch sound in second stage but you can turn off desactivating the DSP



Wild Riders goes ingame, but it crash after you start to control the bike (its slow on my Q6700 btw)

Yup, i've tested and it works right, only a lot of audio problems with old audio plugin and a lot of delay with AOL one, i've tried to enable multithread and disable, nothing helps

But yeah, it works, maybe your dump is no OK

It's not piracy, i have the correct romsets for mame and it should work in demul 0.55 but it doesn't.

Actually, if you have your controller set up correctly you can turn. Just hit button 5 (whatever you assigned that to in the atomiswave controller settings) in game to switch direction.

Also, Street Fighter Zero 3 Upper (NAOMI version, not dreamcast version) worked a little bit better with this release. Props to the team developing this emulator.

P.S. Why isn't there a demul section under dreamcast in the forum? I think they have had the most activity lately of any dreamcast emulator team.

Yeah, it works perfect, only a bit layer problems in text boxes and the classic audio problems (i havent tried AOL audio plugin)
