Strangely, I'm getting an "unable to make polygon shader" error upon loading the DC bios. I can hear the DC bios sound though. The previous 5.3 version works fine and I've confirmed both are configured exactly the same.

Just did some quick checking. The "Guilty Gear XX" games have sound effects now (not just music) and "Street Fighter Zero 3 Upper" is extremely playable, albeit with music problems and some background glitches.

Hey Stranno. I followed your guide for converting mame chds for use with demul. I put the chd(in its own folder) and the rom file of the game(monkeyba) in the roms folder for use with the debug build of mame. When I try to start up the game so I can get the .bin file, I get the same error message: "The selected game is missing one or more required rom or chd images. Please select a different game." Please let me know what I could be doing wrong(do I have to rename the chd from gds-0008 to monkeyba or something?) as I want to try those naomi2 games out, thanks. |

The chd is called gds-0008 and is in the monkeyba folder which is in the roms folder of the mame debug directory. I dont get it either. Its just not being detected. The "monkey ball" name is in the romlist when I execute the debug build so its seeing something.

Excuse me guys, may i ask a Noob question, how do i configure this emulator, what do i name the Bios file & the flash file, also do they have to be in a .zip file for the emulator to read it correctly as there are no instructions with this emulator anywhere, it keeps on telling me, can not find Bios, and where do the Bios & flash files go. Sorry as i have absolutely no idea on how to get this working, and its driving me nuts. :o( |
