Then go back to CONFIG and select GD-ROM, and then you can browse for the image file you wish to load. After it is selected, go to FILE>RUN DC. |

Oh, that did work... Thank you. Btw, which plugin do I use for better Kof Neowave emulation? The default one that comes with Demul 0.5.4-aw seems to be pretty bad. I keep hearing in other forums of ppl using different video plugins and getting better results on Kof Neowave. I can play Neowave 61/61 FPS on my Core i7 @ 4 GHz, but scenarios get buggy from time to time with the default plugin

Attached to main post ================= It feels like a joke, Dolphin Blue and KOV7 doing 6-8 frames in MAME and doing 60 stable FPS in Demul ...

Is there anything particularly different you have to do for Maze of Kings? I converted a few other games from MAME CHDs using mamed, and had no problem, but MoK just gives me a black screen when I try to play it. Any idea what this could be?

this may sound a little patronising but it's not meant that way have you tried changing the bios ? also which version of mamed are you using? reason i ask is i'm also having problems converting a chd to roms, namely ggxxsla, so far i've converted it using 3 different versions of mamed, and all i get for my troubles is can't allocate 256 MBytes of memory (error : 12) this error usually comes up when i try to load a game that i haven't got oh and cheers Stranno i looked on the net yesterday and could't find the atomiswave version of demul anyway here's a lnk to the first page for anyone who didn't know it had been updated Emuforums.com demul054-aw.rar Last edited by dr emu (madmax); September 12th, 2009 at 06:54.. |

I had tried different US/Export BIOSes to no avail. Just tried it with the oldest Japan BIOS and it fired up. Alas, the light gun support seems a bit problematic. It has the wrong axises mapped (and no cursor) on the joypad, and the mouse is fire/reload only and can't control the aim... Is there no way around this? I know the light gun support is early, but it seems ridiculous. |
