it's just good old emu (or emo) - politics as it has been for years.

This is nothing new, there've been scene-quitters all the time, people rejoining all the time, etc, etc.
emu-soap at its best... I can only say that Haze has made great contributions in the past, regardless of what may be going on now....

With stories like this, I feel like announcing some major new emulator, hyping it all up, then quitting right before "release" because of the lamer public.... you don't even have to code to do such a thing
...but I won't, because it's highly unoriginal.

Oh shut up Samor.

Everybody knows you are working on a PS3 emulator.

Dammit! Samor promised me a Sega Dreamcast emulator that would run on my 33 MHZ 386 Laptop with 4 meg of memory via Win 3.11, and store GD ROMs on high density 3 1/2 floppy disks... I just "backed up" soul calibur onto ~1000 Disks so I could play it! Now what am I to look forward to? and it was going to look "arcade perfect" on 16 colors too!

ROTFLMAO

Maybe Samor can give me Metal Gear Solid on 3 1/2 high density floppies for my 33 mhz computer. I'm sure it would run great on the 386 via windows 3.11!!!!!

I disagree it was useless, at least some discussion was made and even a MAME DEV, Oliver Gailbert, agreed with me that putting the Nintendo Decryption Information about Triforce wasn't a sound or legal idea, but apparently Guru got his way and they are in the source

"Added Guru-readme(TM) for Triforce. [Guru]"

whats that mean?

guru is a thief and sells donated roms for personal profit?

has a huge collection that is paid for by donations , also the donation pays for the storage costs also?

i heard he has a full scale ridge racer arcade with the car, and plays naked while smoking a cigar, laughing while even his morgage is getting paid for by donations from all across the world.

i have even seen a youtube clip with the guru apparantly on his personal 3d accelerated version of mame, cursing the general public

A guru readme is a description of pcbs, placement of chips, references etc. The key was only a small part of it, and was removed. The HazeDrama[tm] happened when, instead of just removing the key, he removed everything in a "I can't be bothered to just remove the key, that would require effort" fashion.

If Totyota used the same thought process as MAME (cycle accurate emulation) the Toyota Prius would have never seen the light of day.

It's a good job that you (and Haze) have no say in the matter.
