I also think snes9x is the better emulator of the two. In fact ive had similar success with Snes9K, the only SNES emulator that allowed me to play games over the net. But ZNES does get the job done, despite its non-standard interface

As i said, they are both on equal ground, neither is better, if but in terms of User interface.

There are games that don't even work properly on snes9x, that only work on zsnes, though some of these can be gotten to run by enabling/disabling speedhacks (Actraiser 2 for instance requires it on, while Super Mario RPG requires it off).

I still remember one of the first ZSNES, there was some bug, Demon`s Crest was unplayable. The first boss was immorta, not the dragon the second I`ve played over 6 hours, he just got red and nothing it was fun, I used save states to take a break, and continue the other day

It's amazing to see an emulator progress. It's crazy to watch the development of an emulator when work on it has first begun, and then fast foward several years later, and look at how much has been done/accomplished.

Any word on where to get a beta or WIP of the latest? The old GUI has not mouse control in my VM, and I cry. The emu is perfect and runs games full speed, but I can't config the controller because the mouse is unusable.

Looking forward to more new Zsnes!!!!
