Thanks for the news.
Even thought news is about the ePSXe I will move it to the News Submission as it seems more appropriate.

Here is the changelog and the link to the homepage.
Quote:
Multiple changes has been done in the Pad support.
The internal SPU plugin has been updated to the 1.7.0 version.
The iso support code has been rewritten.
The MDEC decoder has been rewritten.
A new version of the Pete's Software Plugin is included.
The XA/CDDA support has been worked in this new version.
Many things have been fixed in the cd-rom decoder and the core.

That was only a handful of games that are expected to work in the new version, and besides I asked for the fixed and broken.

When can we expect a linux release!?
It would be great if the team could provide us with native x86_64 binaries.

The "in-house" SPU is far better than the one on 1.6 but still have some issues, specially on FF9 PAL. When using the Eternal plugin , the issues are gone. The FMV do seem smoother/cleaner to watch too.

Fiddling with this, so far, no issues encountered yet with regular games. Let's see how the Square games perform...
