The last ePSXeCutor works without problems with ePSXe 1.7.0, so there is no big need for a new version. Maybe sometime when I am bored

Have a try of @ES, it is a new concept and works perfect with the newest release of ePSXe

Nice, much appriciated seeing my favorite PS1 emulator getting an update. I may refresh my memories testing it out a bit after a long time of break mainly due to PCSX2 is what I'm interested in ATM.

Pete Bernert nice to see you alive, always thought your plugins were topnotch.

PS, if you ever get bored plz have a look at PEOPs SPU2 plz. Nah I'm just joking.

Thumbs up

Yay!! I am so happy! I am waiting for the Linux port, I just hope the ePSXe will port the GTK+ 1.x to GTK+ 2.10 or newer. (thus eventually force Pete to port his plugin GUI to GTK2 )

The Linux gpu config GUIs are just small applications, for reading/writing the cfg file. It needs no rocket sience to create such (especially since my original GUI apps are open source: Emu development / P.E.Op.S.), so I leave the task to code nicer ones to everybody who is interested

zlib1.dll on dll-files.com is v1.2.2, not the latest release

you can download precompiled v1.2.3 at official zlib Home Site

security updates, that's particularly interesting if you copy it to your WINDOWS path (so available for all apps)

and even more important IMO, it comes from the official source (in the past, bad-compiled, buggy versions of this dll were spread on the internet)

i doubt the changes from v1.2.2 will make any differences in ePSXe. in fact zlib is a compression library nothing more.

the main changes in v1.2.3 are security vulnerability and some CRC bugs so i doubt they have something to do with ePSXe.. but now talking about ePSXe why the need of those libraries btw?

Understood.

Maybe they should remove zlib1.dll someday or it is really necessary ?

well i don´t know why the ePSXe use that library so i can´t tell if is necessary or not... in my case i would say it´s not necessary. again it depends how much that library is used in ePSXe..

Well, thats only if these were are asked for by ePSXe, at least. If zlib was necessary, it couldve been bundled without problem, since zlib licence fully allows that.
