Cool, this plays Metal Gear Solid with no audio problems and the mdecs aren't a problem anymore like in this thread.

Neat. Things I've noticed:
Lunar's brightness/darkness issues are gone.
The emulator now renders the fires in abe's oddyssey better (not prefectly, though)
Xenogears's particular boss fight crash is still there but I guess that's there to stay (does any emulator or non-ps1 system actually avoids this crash?). I wonder if the 2 crashes that required pressing F7 before certain scenes have been fixed, though - I hope so.

I'm happy about the new version but I have some questions:
1.What exactly I need to do to make the "Soft Video Plugin" under the Video configuration to work because everything I try end up to Send/Don't Send.
2.Is it the emu problem or it because of the plugins the high CPU usage,Psx barely reach 10-20% when I use it?

I like ePSXe more than Psx because of the ability to use PEC,other plugins, and have better graphics

Cheatmaster, you need to have the gpu.dat and gpu.dll from what it seems.

About the processor occupancy, seems like if I use the internal SPU , the processor occupancy is pretty low. if I use Eternal, it's on maximum

Hmm you're right about the CPU usage,if I use the SPU core the CPU usage it's like the emu isn't running
And from where can I take those gpu.dat and gpu.dll...the gpu.dat is probably the one inside the plugins directory but what about gpu.dll?

Now the F7 key is used to switch between the internal soft plugin and the selected plugin on fly.

I don't really know if they removed the workaround.

The new "internal" plugin is called GPU.dat and you can find it on plugin's folder.
