If you want to suggest ideas, don't use this thread, this is just a news thread, and im not entirely sure about it, but i will post information concerning updates and changes, where i am allowed to, if the staff allow me. I will contact Calb about creating an ideas thread for future epsxe versions, but i must insist, that only ideas related to PSX itself be suggested, nothing stupid like it must support ps2 games, or it must be able to use ps2 rumble techniques or w/e. When 1.7 is released, a new bug thread can be created an maintained, i'll do it myself if im allowed by the ngemu staff and epsxe developers, i don't want to bombard them with bugs via pm. While i did put together a team of testers i do trust myself, being Phil, Jonc, Krakatos, and Ckemu, i did explicity request them to post any bugs they find to me, so that i may compile bug lists and submit them on a biweekly basis. Please do not post requests or 1.6 bugs to the team during the 1.7 process, as this beta progresses, i may, permittedly allow others to test 1.7 under the same rules as the others, given that they do not leak and even then only if they are ngemu frequenters. As it is, the admin here to not take kindly to leakers, and if anyone leaks the beta, not only do i get in trouble, but the person leaking it will likely be BANNED. Yes banned, The only reason i have given a few people the beta is to test games that i do not have, but i know had problems. for example FF8's Rumble, and the Disk 2 balcony bug on NTSC copies (reportedly fixed) FF9's crash bugs, and slow downs (Phil get on that will you :P) Chrono Cross's crashes and and slowdowns (i've tested the opening halt bug, and thats fixed, but thats about all, sorry, i got to caught up in VBA for awhile there) Dragoon Legend or what ever its called, i know it had some problems with controls, and op code crashes, but don't have it to test. Still even after that, many games had issues, I only also, give others the beta to try, if they have either a game that has a heavy amount of issues reported, or if they have an extremely large PSX collection. (So if you have 1-10 psx games, you are likely to not get a look in, but if you have 40+... your chances do increase.). I was given explict instruction not to hand out the beta, but as it progressed, i realised i didn't have the psx library needed to continue with this. Which is why i permitted the few i have to also have it. So if the team have any problems with this, I am sorry, but it was honestly for the best of epsxe at the time and i hope they allow me to continue to test beta's and to run my little beta team into the future, if 1.7.1 or 1.8.0 become reality. Also, i don't want to be a bore, but if the epsxe developers are ok with it, would it be possible to create a epsxe beta board, or something that only epsxe devs and we few testers can access? if i remember correctly, VBulletin supports secondary user groups, so a board hidden to anyone not part of the epsxe developer or epsxe tester user groups would be hidden to everyone else? In response to your post though, the sixaxis control can already be connected to the pc.

This Just in.
The Final Fantasy IX crash on the cargo ship in Dali (first disc) is gone=nada zilch, finito. ![]() Oh and as an extra, hit default=fast in Petes D3D 1.7, then set the drawing to 2xsal (or something similer) and voila!!-super smooth text and sprites .

![]() (nah, it happens to me though there and different locations too.) What I do care about is Xenogears it always hang in the dream sequences (when fei remember himself when he was little playing with that bouncing ball..it hangs but the music still there, I had to use ssspsx/psxeven to pass through that location) in all epsxe versions and one more location (i can't remember where it was) it's a shame if this bug not fixed in 1.7.0 cause this bug render the game unplayable for such great RPG (that could be equal to FF7/8/9 or surpasses them). |

Chrono Cross is the next title I'm flogging.
And by the way, 1.7 is super stable. haven't any issue with saving at all. my copy of FF9 is brand new-ordered from ebay. it still crashes on 1.6
