It can, but that is dependant on the application currently in focus,

As for do i like it that way.... no. infact i don't like petes plugins being able to recieve input while out of focus... many a time have i paused the video feed for it to unpause when i hit 0 in a thread.... maybe time to change pause button me thinks

windowed mode, epsxe screen grayed out/not selected. Not sure if such inputs would be desirable. I was under the impression a rewrite of something would be needed for it to work that way.

Well like you said it depends on the application. a new pause button would be nice, but its handy when youre using a messaging app like msn or im.

And Squall have you noticed 1.7 has no flash? I was thinking they would have implemented plenty of dancing girls by now to cheer you on in boss fights.
Im pretty sure pcsx2 had something like that, but Gabest stopped support for it in GSDX. And Ref edited out of the source code (Rae's bidding, I guess)

some changes to the input code would suffice,... mudlord could even add a switch to vbam which prevents input being recieved while being out of focus.... actually now that i mention it....

since i run most of my emulators in windowed mode a screen resize method will be great!!.. i love to resize my emus with the mouse to fit my needs without the need to change the settings in the plugin and restart again.

that i highly doubt... unfortunately... but being that you can now switch to the gpu.dat gpu plugin, they should allow you to change options and plugins during play...

thats a graphics plugin bug, not a emulator bug, this is indicated by the fact it works on older gpu plugins.

this bug is SQUISHED, and no, its not 1.6 bug either

I tried
pSX (known to NOT have this bug)
Epsxe, 1.6/1.7 with OGL 2.8, 1.76, D3D 6/7 1.76 and softgpu 1.18(unreleased)
and my own PS1.

All of these rendered the battle swirl in exactly the same way.

yes squall. 1.6 renders it perfectly. but i got bored with seeing it so much that i fiddled with the (old) plugins to edit it out, as wierd as that may seem XD.

err.. but that would slow down the game as it would freeze at that point for a few seconds...

Dose this mean they is no new video plugin for the emulator?, Like some new video plugins it would be best for it to identify the video card that you are using.

For the love of God, an integrated gpu renderer would be a spiffy update already. If need be, just a gpu dll sneaked inside release zip, even software-based. Anything would beat having none by default ;P

Not to sound like the ***** I am, but would the betatesters take their teasing discussion to a place where noobs and annoying fans won't be, like, a private beta forum they probably have

EDIT : I you do NOT have a private forum, ask and you shall receive (though it'd be surprising)

Game Fixes (PE2 & MGS for sound prblms and so many), I guess that is not much to say so..heh
There are many fixes implemented, across a wide range of games, you'll have to wait for the end product.

Looking back through the thread,... most of these were already addressed.

Not needing to keep juggling between 1.6.0 and 1.5.2 for Chrono Cross and FF9 sure would sound sweet ;p
