Are all the XBE dumps PAL games so far? Also, is there a difference in the XBE's? If so, I have about 15 NTSC games I could get XBE dumps for:

1. Unreal Championship 2
2. NCAA Football 2005
3. Sega GT 2002/Jet Set Radio Future[with demos]
4. Sega GT Online
5. Phantasy Star Online Episode 1 & 2
6. Tony Hawk's Pro Skater 3
7. Jet Set Radio Future[its own disk]
8. Metal Gear Solid 2: Substance
9. Midway Arcade Treasures 3
10. Forza Motorsport
11. Project Gotham Racing
12. Mech Assault
13. Dead or Alive Xtreme Beach Volleyball
14. Tom Clancy's Splinter Cell
15. Dead or Alive 3

No, we have dumps for all sorts of regions : ALL, ALL+DEBUG, JAP, JAP+NTSC, NTSC, NTSC+PAL, PAL (this you can get from our XdkTracker database).

Yes, region-differences imply different builds, and thus different XBE's.

If it's not too much trouble, dump them all - some of them we already have, but it's helpful to see if yours are any different.
Thanks for your time!

Sorry for taking so long, here they are. One thing's odd though..these games are NTSC and they're showing up as PAL according to the dumps. Could it be because they have a media patch[I ripped them to my hard drive and then just copied over the patched XBE's]?

@Dax : Thanks - I've added them to our SVN. About your question - it could be Dxbx incorrectly marks these as PAL, I don't know for sure, but it could.

Again one more thing we should have a look at when we can find the inspiration to continue work on Dxbx.... On that subject : Shadowtj has IRL distractions, and my motivation is low too, which effectively halts Dxbx progress. Sorry, but that's just how it stands right now.
Then only thing going right now, on is a redesign of Shadow_tj's website - you'll hear it when it's up.
Cheers.

No rush man. I appreciate your work on the emulator.

If you need some basic debugging[like call stacks, etc.] done some time, let me know, I have VC++ 2008.

Edit: whoops, I forgot DXBX isn't written in C++. Sorry!

well the motivation for make a perfect xbox emulator is the games that pc hasnīt
i have a idea if you can to emu ninja gayden ..all your work could be finished ...i think that all xbox devīs must work in the same project and not for separate ...
otherwise...is better make a xbox emulator than psp emulator or others consoles handles.is a great motivation is play the games on pc without consoles..and now the prices are very low..but if you think that is too hard is better to close the emu forever....because all the people are waiting but there not progress ..the pople donīt know what hard is programming and how lon is the codification and lines codes, but is better annoucing a close than give a hope ...
thanks patrick for all and please excuse me for this opinion youīre awesone and my better wishes to you iīm fan of xbox devīs

the only emulation handle important is psp the others are like nintendo 64 or old snes...and the best game of psp : god of war chaims of olympus....teh conclusion: work in the console than you can do more progress..and close 1..choose only 1 and you will get great progress

there's no such a "must work", they do what they like
you're not required to wait anyway.

..friends, i am not suggesting closed the project i only say this: the devīs has a live and all.
if is so dificult make a perfect xbox emulator is not mandatory make one...if this project is closed the people leave to ask things no more question and no more resquest..the water that you donīt can to drink leave it to run....there are more than 6 years and only play 3 or 5 games..is better leave the dreams and to live the reality...the people goes to ask for 6 years more? i think that the developers need peace and does the thing that they wants

don't say anything, the devs know what they are doing and don't tell them what to do.
there is a simple solution if you don't like what they are doing :
don't access to Xbox Emulation/don't post here, or forget Xbox Emulation.
I have an idea: make your own xbox emu

i love the xbox and i love the emulation

if i can solve some code exeption i talk everything but well...

raziel the point is there are really hope for teh fans in the xbox emulation in the netxt times?

otherwise cxbx has a real problem with code exeption and funtions bynaries reading keys of games...but i never wish that xbox emulation close
iīve problems compiling cxbx iīve visual2005,d3d8 sdk, miscrosoft platafform it works with that?

is changes in the kernel the real solution for this codes exeptions?

Crash Bandicoot Wrath of Cortex XBE Dump

I also have the DXBX kernel log and error from when I ran it, does that help, or is that just something you can easily generate? Just want to know of other ways I can help.

To clear up some confusion : We're not dropping Cxbx. We're just not working on it temporarily, that's all.

@locdawg18 : As for Dxbx log dumps; They're currently not needed. Only when Dxbx reaches a compatibility-level that's comparable to Cxbx, we'll be needing your dumps, as they can tell us roughly where emulation fails.
So for now : Thanks for the offer, but not interested right now.

Generally speaking we would most be helped with actual developers - people who are capable of translating C into high-quality Delphi code. As we're currently still mainly in a translation-phase, you don't need that much actually : Just a copy of Delphi (2007 preferrably), a copy of the Cxbx and Dxbx sources, plus the requirements we mention in the readme. Having an actual XBE to test with helps too. (We even have an automated translation-progress report, to show you where there's still work to be done.) So: you don't really need XDK's, Xbox experience or whatever - you could pick it up and go!
