lol... yeah... you do have the choice when you buy the OS, but I didn't technically buy the OS, it came with my laptop and the OS disk is only the 32 bit

Great work like so many before me I wish I could work on this project as well or simular projects but I cant I have no clue where to start. I'm new on here as far as being a registered member, but I been comming into these forums for years keeping up on the latest and greatest in the emulation scene. I personally dislike the general attitude towards noobs or poeple who make an unthoughtful question. Repeat offenders deserve it. But back to Dolphin the emulator I'd like to see a fast forward button like Visualboy Advance so I can zoom right on by lengthy cut scenes or for whatever purpose I'd like. Just a suggestion thanks and have a nice day.

I cant wait till its released !!!

it looks better than pcsx2: Sparkguy.

Sparkguy, ive got 1 thing to say to you: BULL**** !!!
PCSX2 isnt fully operational yet and many games wont look nice but in the end it looks better than an original GameCube.

Sparkguy, PCSX2 is A LOT better than dolphin, it can run some ps2 games at full speed, and some of them, run even faster than the real ps2 if you have a strong pc. But dolphin can not run any game at playble speeds even if you have a monster computer.

you're so wrong...

even with my A64 3200+ and my temp GF6200 (normally a 6600), I can run lots of games on dolphin x64 near full speed.

He doesn't have to prove anything to anybody.
I can assure you though that Knuckles is a Beta Tester and he doesn't just go around and tell s**t just to screw people. Nuff said.

Forgive me if this has been asked before but what is it that makes a 64bit code able to run so much better than a 32bit code?

@nsk122684 is you give this a short read it should help you to understand why a 64 bit app's run better than 32 bit apps.

They won't give us a date for the release of dolphin 64... I am expecting sometime during the summer b/c the main coders are in high school focusing on their studies, not particularly on coding

Nobody knows when a program will be released… even less if this still working in progress. To put a date is not the best thing you can do, since you never know how complicated could become something that in theory was simple. In addition, one date, can act like pressure, and I don't believe that somebody wants to work under pressure in his free time.

sorry for my english
