To get back on track I was wondering what makes more of a speed impact, 64bit builds or DC options?

(of course both im just wondering which has the greater impact, and im trying to steer the topic back on topic)

Don't ask about compatibility question when Dolphin is still in the process of improving...Just wait until it is ready and release to the public and then you can talk about compatibility all you want

Only if you want to use the 64bit release. ( 64 bit applications need a 64bit cpu and a 64bit os)

I must say that, this is the best emuForum ever ! I love it ! It´s true !

I play with the Dolphin 1.03 beta 2 Zelda TP (PAL) but only 1 fps ! I know that this is normal ! I would ask for the Release of the 64x version ( I know that The authors will release it when it's ready. ) but does someone know a date or something ?

Plz sry again i am new here ! [ forgive me ]

1.windows xp64
2.windows 2003

Actually theryre not that high.. you can run vista basic on a p3 1ghz with a 64 meg video vard.. i did for a year and a half. As far as system requirements, Vista runs DirectX9 applications on the whole 9 % slower than running them in XP. People said that 98 was faster than XP , then they were eating their words when direct9 hardware was released and people saw xp's potential. Vista runs fine, if you want the aero interface have a good graphics card. My advice to you is get a minimum wage job and buy a 7600GS to get you through till the directx10 cards a cheaper. And ram prices are falling so as long as you have a mid range processor you are okay. Or you can always dual boot with OSx86., LOL

also studies are showing that a FULL Clean Install of vista runs 10% faster than just upgrading. So get ready to partition or format.. =D

who says?? they can be usefull.i uses amd athlon 64 3000+>>which is a 64 bit cum 32 bit processor<< in my windows os >>32 bit<< and i dont know if its just me but it works faster tahn only 32 bit ones

idk im not saying that im asking the other people if thats what theyre saying. I honestly feel as if my pc is pretty damn fast and always thought 64 bit helped onmy 32 bit os and when they released the 64 bit far cry version it went even faster for me not by much but it was noticeable with fraps

64 bit processors are great for photoshop.. and since vista is 64 bit it is cool.
