I'm rather new to GC emulation and i have some questions about how it works:
1-How do i play games on the emulator? Is it like the PSX emulators, just put the disc in and play? 2-How fast the games run?(How many FPS) 3-Are the devs still developing the emulator? thank you in advance |

1) You basically have to obtain a Gamecube .cdi image and load it via the Gamecube emulator you are using. (So pretty much yeah it is somewhat like PSX)
2) Right now from my experience of playing games like Super Smash Bros games that are playable run very slow and majority of GC games are not compatible yet to most emulators. It also depends how fast your cpu is (The better your cpu the faster the frames) 3) Yes they are still working and the best thing to do is to be patient in the process of developement. Hope I could help your questions! |

Hello FireFalkon and welcome to ngemu forums.
1- Unfortunately no. GC miniDVDs are not readable by PC DVD drives. You'll need to extract the game from your Gamecube in order to play with Dolphin. And you also need Phantasy star online. Google is your friend if you want how to do this (and meaby you'll find other ways to extract files from a GC mini DVD). 2- Hum...Not really fast. It also depends of the power of your machine. But I know they won't really run at a great speed. Have a look at the screenshoot thread in order to have an idea. 3- As Far as I know, Dolphin is not dead...So I guess it is still in development.....

thank you for your replies, but too bad the games don't run at their normal speed
I'll search for a way to extract the disc images and try smash bros melee, if it runs too slow i'll wait the further development of the emulator thank you again |
