I understand low Fps but...
When I play The Wind Waker it starts off with 3 fps... I expected this... but then when I get into actual gameplay i get 0.53 or 0.04 fps... I know that this is not supposed to be... I have an OK gfx card and a brand new comp... and I have heard peeps gettin 5 fps during gameplay. How can I fix this? Also... I have AMD Athlon 64 processor 3500+ 2.2 ghz and my graphics card is geforce 4000 with 128mb ddr... I'm thinking I should get 256mb ddr... suggestions?

no that card is sh** compared to the BFG geforce 6600 GT its not allways about the mb in a video card
theres core clock and memory clock u have to look at as well and if the video card is DDR3 the BFG 6600 GT has a 525 effective core and a 1050 effctive memory clock and it DDR3 |
