I HAVE installed the update.

And okay YugiFann. Why does that name ring a bell...? Do you play DMU on BYOND?

Just checked, and YES you do! Unless you are another YugiFann...

Anyway, I downloaded revision 4447. And heck! It works wonders with SSBM (on D3D video plugin). It sometimes goes over 60 FPS, so I set the frame limiter to 60 FPS as seeing how poorly 'Auto' operates. Oh, and what is 'Watchdog'?

And I am going to borrow a cousin's SSB Brawl this weekend, but I am not sure which version he has. So to be safe, do both PAL and NTSC versions work on the later builds now?
Anyway thanks. (I asked 2 questions.)

Ntsc doesnt work. Switch frame limiter off and enable other audio (throttle) on the DSP-HLE plugin. Not sure what watchdog is, evidently some people use it for a speed boost.

I am not on my computer at the moment, but last I checked I am sure 'Other audio (throttle)' was enabled. Thanks.
EDIT: Why not use Frame Limiter?

Its up to you, its just what i do to lock the game to 60fps. I find it works better.

Just checked, and yep, I do have that on. The thing is, the game still runs a bit too fast even with limiter, so I changed it to 50 FPS.

Edit: So, is there anyway to ensure NORMAL game speed?
Note: The speed up only occurs on 'lite-resource' stages in SSBM. Other stages actually slow down the game speed to about half, so that is why I play on the 'lite' stages, but then as mentioned, the FPS increases too much...

If its the PAL version 50fps might be the right speed.
