Zelda wind waker crash

dunno why but zelda wind waker keep crashing or "freezing" after the initial video the emu hangs up the fps stop counting and i cant hear any sound or images .any special settings for this game that maybe i missed
Edited:ok i managed to get it working but now i get cracking sound very coppy anyone maybe know why?

When you play the game are you getting 30fps? Is the choppy sound because the game is running slow

ok thanks that should be im getting 20 fps ,strange the game sound getting choppy instead of simply slowing down
