Zelda - Twilight Princess GC (graphic issue?)

Is it just me, or there's something missing in all screenshots? (rev4418)

Direct3D | OpenGL | Software

Don't mind the invisible minimap on D3D, or the weird offset on Software.

Probably is a layer error for the brushes (a priority or a missed texture). In all the Dolphin revision i tested (and I test them from the 904....) the "problem" you notice is the same.
I think it can be a layer priority. In other games e.g. Piglet big adventure the head of the character is missing (that game don't run in new revisions).

I notice a more relevant thing (I think...).
In software plugin the Link body is not all affected from the "water effect" and that is how i remember it on my GC (r.i.p. my old....). Hope Opengl and D3D plugins can reach the quality of the software one (waiting for this moment from a long time...)

Yup, that's just what I was thinking. And I was wondering if someone had tested it and found it working at some time, so your information is much appreciated. I wonder if an issue was already filled about it...

Also, I don't know what you mean about the water efffect. But I do see that the Software plugin seems to have no "bloom" at all.

There's some kind of layer error, which only covers the top left quarter of the screen. Notice the low resolution in that quarter. It covers the whole screen in the wii version if you dont use the bloom hack.

So true! I never noticed that before.

Here's two more screenies at higher resolution. (1280x960)
Direct3D | OpenGL

You are right about the bloom effect but my "water effect" is another thing...

Look all around the Link body... it's not defined as in the SW plugin. The body part out of the water must be linear (I don't know how else explain...). It musn't follow the water.... compare the two pictures (SW and D3D or OGL)

I think i see what you mean. The water effect is on all of Links body and not just the part in the water.

Ah~ I think I know what you mean now about the water, but I can't really tell with that low resolution and no contrast from the bloom. >_<

Found the "issue" posted: #1443, which was merged into #828. The issue is listed as "to verify"...

Can we add information for it to be "verified" ? If so, what kind of information? >_<

But for me, that gives me black menus and no onscreen information.

Here's another thing, but happens only with D3D plugin (didn't test Software):

hm doesn't give me black menus or anything.

I use the newest SVN r4431 with the DX9 Plugin
- safe texture cache enabled
- cpu>efb access enabled
- no widescreen hack (screws up water reflections etc..)
- Anti-alias: 16xQ CSAA
- 16x anisotropy filtering

Tried it again with 4434 and your settings, still black screen and all the same with the hack. Also, that "issue" is only when there's a mirror near. As if the mirrored model wasn't "masked" to the mirror area or something.

Maybe it only happens with pre-Shader4 model cards, since I'm currently using a 7300GT. What's your video card Kupfel?

Is right at the entrance of the Yeti's mansion. The mirror surface would be the ice, which the wolfy is aligned to.

Here's another screenie: Mirror Chamber
I guess it's the same "issue" unless it's ment to be that way. >_<

#EDIT: Currently using drivers 190.39
