It's been like that for quite some time now.

My complete PC stats: Intel Core 2 Duo 6600 @ 2.40 GHz 2.39 GHz 2.00 GB RAM DDR2 1,25 TB Hard Drive (an advantage of the HD crash  )Nvidia Geforce 7900 GS ... and I guess that's that...

Yeah. I used rev 3828 until now and it had the same thing as this one: everything working except the NPC (Pianta/Toad/Princess/etc.) sounds.

I take it you don't keep up to date much, sound in Mario Sunshine has been working for several revisions now except for some minor sound oddities. Not even news... I was hoping before I opened the thread that it was going to be something along the line of the pianta and toadstool sounds were finally fixed.
