Help with settings?

I want to run SSBB smoothly. At one point...it was, not consistently, but sometimes I got a new 60 FPS...but after messing with it...I cant...i now average around 25 FPS...ick...

Any help with settings or things to try?

your gpu is not very strong try lowering the internal resolution in dolphin to gain some speed also older revisions run faster on some games because it was not emulating as many things correctly as it does now.
what is your cpu speed?
