Need perfect settings for Mario Kart:DD

Can someone who has successfully configured Mario Kart to a smooth and playable standard tell me their settings? I have been playing around with it and sometimes i get 40+ fps but smooth gameplay while sometimes 70+ fps with sluggish gameplay. Very weird:/ Some people recommended turning safe texture off and vice versa:/

I'm using the latest unofficial build of 37xx. Btw, is this the best emulator for MKD? I have dual core and sound enabled. Sound disabled does not make a difference for me.

As I said, I can run at high fps (70-80)but it does not feel like it was running at that fps. Acceleration and etc feels slow
