Maybe someone can answer some questions:i get huge fps slowdowns on some levels - not only in SMG also in other games - what is the reason for it? has it somethin to do with the DSP? Cause sometimes i get amazing speeds when i use Nullsound. And why is it, that sometimes i get good speeds and sometimes i get low speed altough i am playing in the same level? E6600 @ 2,4 - also tried 3GHz but didnt make that much difference 4Gb Ram GTS8800 320Mb |

I think I've got it.... For my knowing of 3D I think is the quantity of 3D object on the screen: same level, same position if you turn the caracter in a direction where there is less 3D objects the speed increase. I think is the same of LoZ:TP. In hyrule field the speed is low: the big map of hyrule, the quantity of rendered 3D object... (hope not say something wrong....) Some games use a "render what i see and at a MAX distance of XX" type of renderer (remenber GT on PS1), some other use a full render of the world. I think it depend on the console caracteristics (memory, type of texture etc etc). This is only my opinion and I'm not a great programmer so everyone feel free to correct me.

Nope it's not just with real Wii-Remote, try to set pitch left/right options in WiiMote plugin, it's 3 and 4 buttons by default

It's not the pitch, it's the roll movement. Thats how I passed this level. BTW I'm on the right side of the observatory already. Collected all Stars, including the one inside the ball.

has anyone been playing through the game on dolphin and not just using a 100% save file. Have there been any bugs or glitches to make this game unable to complete on dolphin?

There is no bugs which don't allow you to complete this game on Dolphin, i'm playing without completed savefile, the problem is that game hngs after on of the latest DSP_HLE changes, so i use r3675

No, it doesn't. But it very tricky to do it using a joystick. You have to config both pitch and roll to 90 degrees, invert one axis and then pull back to put the wiimote straight up. I don't know for the others, but to me It was hard as hell to do it. I don't even know if I can reproduce what I'm talking about 'cos it was a trial-and-error process. Try messing with the values, thats how I managed to guide the ball to the and of the way. But forget about the itens, or you fall off many times until your life has gone. BTW, don't you people even try this or that moves before saying "It can only be done on real wiimote"? It's not gonna hurt you ![]() I even opened a thread here asking for help. But it seems that I can help more than ask for help.
