Gamecube game not playing

So i just downloaded this today and went to start it up but got the whole dsp problem so i went and got those and now i don't get any errors when i start a game but the game doesn't play. I just get a black screen. Not sure whats going on, If anyone has a way to fix this please tell. If it means anything the game i was trying to play is final fantasy crystal chronicles.

I do own the game. I just don't have a working game cube. and how does that make me a pirate? btw when I said "i just downloaded this today" i was talking about the emulator.

Then you'd better post about it properly, I thought about the game, not emulator. What is the revision of Dolphin you are using?

oh, that game took me a lot of time to get it to work, you should download from r19xx to r2000, turn off Optimize Quantizer and load a save file because choosing new game does't work. Here is my rev that is already configed:

I downloaded your rev but it just gives me the DX9.dll error then crashes when i click the exe.

you should download from Dax's sky drive and use my GC memorycard file and my config

I have the Plugin_VideoDX9.dll file, its in the plugin file but it says it cant find it, does it need to be somewhere else like the system32 folder?

You need to update your DirectX 9 to latest bi-monthly version

Ok awsome, it works now, but i still cant make a new game, I don't really want to use your save since even the earliest one is 22 min into the game. Is there anyway to fix it so i can start a new game?

How did you get the saves in the first place if you cant start new games?

you can start a new character and it's like playing from the begenning, there won't be a fix soon so try to accept it

Yeah I did that but I got crazy video lag, like 15 fps.
I got Gforce 9600GT video card, 2gb ram, and 2.6ghz duel core processor.
I dont know why its lagging....

Probably not properly emulated still, Dolphin is not perfect

Yeah... if i turn that on the models get all gigantic and lag it even more lol.
