tatsunoko vs capcom and dolph 3402 problem

tatsunoko vs capcom always worked for me in every release of ths emu,except this one..when i start the game,after the disclaimers screen rthat says be careful to not hurt people with wiimote etc,i got a white message error on a blac kscreen in japanese but i don't know what it means..and i cannot go on.

Yeah, it's not working in the latest svns. Dunno why. Downgrade to play it.

Just copy a saved game from an old version.

One problem I'm having is that the game won't stay out of widescreen mode, which seems to affect the FPS greatly. I have the widescreen options disabled in the config and game properties but it continues to boot in widescreen mode. Anyone have a solution for this?
