Pikmin 2 freezes when selecting a map.

I use the Dolphin Emulator.

Everytime I choose a map for Pikmin 2, it shows the rocket flying to the spot. The second the screen is going to the map, it just freezes.

I reinstalled the game a couple times, but still the same problem. Anyone please help?

What Region Pikmin 2 do you have, and what rev & settings do you have?

The problem has been noted in the wiki. It is a bug and there is nothing that can be done about it at the moment afaik. If you find a solution please let me know.

That issue was fixed by revision 3392. Great work by luigi2us.
