How to install hack patches

ive got a hack patch that supposedly works for mario kart wii and super mario galaxy, but I have no idea how to install it. Can anyone help me?

Btw I really appreciate how you guys have helped out with various emulators... definitely helped me plenty of times.

I'm not really sure what you mean by install the hack patches. You can choose some of the hacks that are already built-in. Choose them from the drop-down menu in the advanced tab of opengl plugin.
