No audio on gamecube games

I have Super Smash Bros Brawl playing and it is truely great, the audio works fine and the speed is good too. But when I try Gamecube games (Double Dash & Twilight Princess) they are completely playable but there is no audio. Is this normal, or is the audio supposed to work? Thanks for any help.
