OpenCL Realistic?
Let me start by saying I am a complete noob. OpenCL (to the best of my knowledge) is rather new, and allows the computer to take advantage of any unused resources on the GPU, and uses that to attain more general computing power (like a CPU). Now to me, that seems like it would be highly advantageous when emulating games because general computing power is what is required the most for smooth play. Having said that, I am wondering whether the implementation of this is even possible/realistic in future builds of Dolphin, or if there are many complications (which a noob like me wouldn't know) and it is not going to be a possibility. from what i read its a lot like CUDA. this idea was suggested to pcsx2 but was denied, saying it wouldnt benefit much. i dont know much more than that.

Its a limitation in the implementation. the drivers cannot switch between the tasks of Rendering graphics, and rendering cuda/opencl fast enough for it to be viable.
