Is the BUS frequency of the CPU important for dolphin???

Its important however most of intel cpu's have 1333 maximum internal bus speed and the extreme with 1600...thats why ddr3 memories are not being used to its full potential...thats one of the reasons for ddr3...

in the emulator it is the frequency of the processor and its architecture.
C2D processor 45mn (800fsb or whatever) is a good oc 3GHz cpu running dophin

clock speed is what matters, bus speed is only a bi-product when ocing. If you can achieve the same speed with say 400*8 vs 533*6, it doesn't matter. Choose the easier one, which is 400*8. That's easier to achieve because fsb wall is lower.

yep, Dolphin likes MHz over anything else, maybe using a high FSB will improve performance, but very marginal like tighting the RAM latencies.
