Am I the only one that thinks hrydgard is not a man, but a God, and one of the greatest Gods on the entire earth, for attempting to to resolve the issue with F-ZeroGX? Seriously...he's up there with El Semi as far Gods go.

I hope he comes to this thread to see how many people are rooting for him to make F-ZeroGX run at full speed with no glitches in Dawlfin.

I got it to run!... kinda. It makes it past the Sega-AV logo, but after creating a memory card save and inputting a name, dolphin freezes. It also freezes even if I tell it to not create a save file.

Used standard Dolphin (non-IL) 64-bit r2195

So, any idea what I'm doing wrong?

So is this actually playable yet, or are FP registers still not implemented?

Okay I so I just ripped the game, so I just ran it under Dolphin SVN r2745.

JIT: Crashed after the save file prompt came up.
--
IL: Crashed Dolphin as soon as I got passed the Nintendo/Sega logo. WTF.

HALP!

TLBHack is checked... was checked already before I downloaded r2745. I downloaded this SVN from the Dolphin main site.

Otherwise everything is defaulted from whatever Daco set it as on the Dolphin main site.
Here are the settings I have...

F-Zero Config

OpenGL

Dolphin Config

EDIT: Okay so I tried that debugger trick from a page ago and I got onto the menu, but fo course everything f**ks up the second I try to load anything in-game. (Lol my comp ony got 23 fps on the title screen.)

Yeah, this is seriously going to be the greatest thing to happen in the emulation community as far as I'm concerned. Words cannot describe how much I'm looking forward to this monumental moment.

Bumping this thread. FPU updates are being made so we might get a playable F-ZERO GX sooner than we thought. If you look at the game now, some graphical fixes are already visible. Awesome!

^That is great news!

I haven't played F-Zero GX in years. I created a backup from a friends disc a couple months ago, so I can't wait to actually play it again like the old days with my buddies. Man F-Zero GX is such a kick-ass game!

Don't get your hopes up too much, StarFox Assault doesn't even run 100% yet.
